Thank you for taking an interest in Cornerstone School.  We enjoy meeting our prospective parents in person to begin creating a personal relationship, yet we also realize that the internet provides you the ability to research information at your convenience.  We look forward to working with you to determine if Cornerstone School is the appropriate educational experience for your child.

The application procedure is as follows: 

            Tour:  

We encourage parents to tour our school.  This appointment is an opportunity for you to learn about Cornerstone School and ask any questions you may have.  Please call the office at (352) 351-8840 to schedule your tour.

             Application for Enrollment: Application

Complete and submit the application, along with the $40, non-refundable application fee.  Submit your application as early as possible so your child can be placed in the waiting pool.  To prevent any delay in the application process, please include all necessary documents as indicated on the application.

             Class Visit/Grade Placement Assessment:

Once your application has been received, we will schedule a class visit for your child. Your child will spend the day in class with peers and a buddy will be assigned to help acclimate your child to the school for that day.  A grade placement assessment will be performed with your child.

            Conference:

                  This is an opportunity to discuss the appropriate educational path for your child(ren), express expectations from both parent and school and answer any questions. 

            Registration:  2008-2009 Registration & Fee Schedule

Upon the completion of the class visit, the teacher who performed the assessment will meet with the Director to discuss the assessment.  You will be notified regarding the results and informed of the next step in the registration process.

            Tuition Assistance:

                  Tuition Assistance is offered on an as needed basis and provided funding is available.  Our fundraising events are our main source of funds for tuition assistance.  The following link will take you through the tuition assistance process.
